Lauren McNicoll (b. London, 1995) is a ceramicist and artist living and working in south London.
Through her solo practice, group workshops and technical role in higher education, her work endeavours to encourage and engage with discussions around identity and human connection. As someone who identifies as a lesbian and feminist she utilises the tactility, rich history, memory, and malleability of clay as an integral symbol within her practice. Her sculptures often combine crafted stoneware ceramic elements with other found or recycled materials to create jarring visuals.
